Sekisui Chemical Co., Ltd. (President: Teiji Koge) established SEKISUI VIETNAM PIPE SOLUTIONS Co., Ltd. (“SVPS”),
a sales company focusing on the water infrastructure industry on December 25, 2014, and started operations on January 2, 2015
in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The opening ceremony was held on February 13, and there were about 60 guests including
Mr. Nguyen Hong Tien, General Director of Administration of Technical
Infrastructure at the Vietnamese Ministry of Construction,
Mr. Nguyen Van But, Chaiman of the Board of Water Supply Joint Stock Company
in Phu Tho, Mr. Tran Ba Phuc, Chairman of Tien Phong Plastic JSC (“TifoPlast”),
and Mr. Nguyen Van Cong, President-General Director of Coninco JSC.
The newly established SVPS will bolster understanding of local market conditions
and will seek to acquire orders for water and sewer system related projects
using OEM products by TifoPlast, a major plastic manufacturer in Vietnam,
and products imported from the Sekisui Chemical Group.
SVPS will also work to increase sales in other Asian countries.
